The last time Angie & I were in Key West was about 18 years ago, before we were married, and of course before kids. Exploring the southernmost point in the continental US is much different with a family, as you may expect.
Leaving our home in Lakewood Ranch a little late, we chose to swing in to Key Largo on the first night to break up the drive. That allowed us to experience the OverSeas highway during the day, which really is the best way to travel along the Keys, IMHO.
I will say that even in just 3 Days, we were able to experience a lot of what Key West, Florida has to offer for a family.
